When I wrote this song, at first it was just a song…then it became a challenge to me, and I believe to others, as well. I began to reflect on the words each day…I give you all of me….I lay my LIFE down at your feet.
Those words are very strong words…saying to God that you would lay your life down for him. I know that in order to see mighty changes on this Earth…to see mighty things from heaven, and from the King in heaven, I need to change
The way I live…I need to live more boldly for him….more dangerously, if God wants it that way. We need to be a people who are giving our all, and that is definitely my challenge for you today.
I know that this song was from God. Because when I wrote the words flowed and just came from nowhere…it is amazing when something of that nature happens…and it is truly a blessing to me from God. And HE, GOD HIMSELF wants to challenge you, much more than I could ever challenge you. HIS desire is for you to be HIS friend, and that he would be your first love.
If you want God to fill you up and give you a passion to live fully for him then just pray this:
Father, I pray that you will receive all the glory. Lord, I pray that through the hard times I will give my all. I pray that through the good times I will give my all. I pray that you will keep me on track, and that I would grow closer to you…each day. Father, help me to live my life, in who I am, for you.
Amen.
I give you all of me; I lay my life down at your
feet.
I give you all of me; you helped me lay my burden
down.
I give you all of me; I’ll give simply all.
These words, stirring in my heart, capturing my
soul, I give my all…
I speak, giving God my praise, and reaching out in
faith, I can’t wait…
I sing…
I give you all of me; I lay my life down at your
feet.
I give you all of me; you helped me lay my burden
down.
I give you all of me; I’ll give simply all.
Stand up, sing a mighty song, heaven will rain down,
on us…
Wake up, hear the angel voice, lifting father God,
His name…
I give you all of me;
I lay my life down at your feet.
I give you all of me; you helped me lay my burden
down.
I give you all of me; I’ll give simply all.
I’ll give simply all I am, to you, the one, for me,
eternally;
you are the one whom I’ll give all…’
